All lessons offered by Mirai Kids can be taken online. Currently (as of December 2022), we have students from 5 cities in Australia, the United States, and Japan through online lessons.

To be honest, I wondered how well the 5-year-old kid would do with his first soroban lesson online at first. However, he enjoys the lessons because they are designed to keep him occupied and because the instructors communicate with him according to his interests.
Three years have passed in the blink of an eye, and my son's interest in math is growing stronger every day. He took the abacus to his local school and was happy to receive many compliments from his teachers when he showed them how to use it.
I think the best thing about being online is that I can see the lessons up close, I can see what my child is learning, and I can get high quality lessons from anywhere in the world.

How to take online class
Using Zoom
Mirai Kids' online lessons use Zoom.
If you are using a computer, simply click on the URL sent to you from the classroom before the lesson starts. If you are taking lessons on a smartphone or tablet, you will need to install the app beforehand.
インストール方法
iOS（iPhone・iPadの方）…App StoreよりZoomのアプリ（ZOOM Cloud Meetings）をインストールしてください
Android（Androidスマホ、タブレットの方）…PlayストアよりZoomのアプリ（ZOOM Cloud Meetings）をインストールしてください
02.機材について
カメラ・マイク・スピーカーが内臓されていないパソコンの場合は、以下の機材が必要になります。
・WEBカメラ
生徒様自身の姿を映すために必要です。
・マイク
生徒様自身の音声を講師へ届けるために必要です。
WEBカメラを用意する場合、WEBカメラにはマイク機能が備わっている為、音質にこだわらない場合は別途マイクを用意する必要はありません。
・スピーカー、もしくはイヤホン
講師側の音声を聞くために必要です。
※カメラ・マイク・スピーカーが内臓されている場合、別途用意するものはありません。
※古いパソコンなど、スペック不足によりスムーズに動作しない場合はレッスンをご提供できない可能性があります。
03.インターネット環境
安定したネットワーク環境でご受講ください。
速度の目安としては、Youtubeなどの動画を再生する際に頻繁に停止することが無く快適に視聴できるようであれば、オンラインレッスンの受講に適したネットワーク環境といえます。
